On the 29th day of July 2023, the Society for Study of Metabolic Syndrome and Diabetes (SSMSD), organised a scientific programme titlted “মধুমেহ -Me CaRe Conclave 2023” with the objective to Encourage, Empower and Entrust primary care physicians with the latest advancements and knowledge in the medical field. The event took place at Pushkara Sarovar Portico of Dibrugarh where esteemed medical professionals across India, including international faculties and delegates, attended, participated and shared their valuable knowledge and insights.
The event commenced with a warm welcome by the organising committee. The guests were greeted with thoughtful gift hampers, symbolising the sense of hospitality and appreciation. The attendees were also felicitated with a Phulam Gamusa and a specially designed memento, served as a token of gratitude for their valuable presence and contribution to the medical fraternity.
The innauguration of the programme was carried out by Dr. Sanjeeb Kakati, a renowned personality, from Dibrugarh. The opening ceremony commenced with the lighting of lamps, signifying the power of knowledge.
Throughout the day, the attendees engaged in orations on various topics such as public health, insulin summit, diet & nutrition and social myths & innovation. Special sessions were also conducted on Gynecology, Cardiology and Nephrology.
One of the highlights of the event was the official launch of the “Upskilling of Nurse’ Training Programme” by Dr. A K Azad Khan, a distinguished personality hailing from Bangladesh. This programme is looking forward to cultivate supportive ideas to rejuvenate and revolutionize patient care.
The scientific programme concluded as a great success with the active participation and commitment of the healthcare professionals in addition to the efforts and dedication of the entire team of SSMSD, with the motto of delivering elevated healthcare standards and services to the patients.
